Rally Obedience is a wonderful sport for building a solid relationship with your pooch and creating a well-behaved companion in the process. In Rally Obedience the dog/handler teams learn to combine heeling skills with a variety of obedience moves in fun sequences. A Rally course consists of several (about 15) numbered stations; at each station there is a Rally sign indicating which skills the team must perform. The handler/dog team move from station to station in sequence and perform the behaviours indicated, all while having lots of fun!
The sport is suited to dogs and handlers of all ages and levels of fitness. We modify the requirements to suit the needs of dogs or handlers with limitations. Whether you are a keen competitor or someone who just wants to have fun with the family pet, Rally Obedience has lots to offer! If you are interested in learning more about the sport, visit the website of our national organization, Canadian Association of Rally Obedience.
